Packet Pick-Up & Late Registration
Sunday, July 3rd – noon to 4pm; Saturday (this is a change from last year as it is a weekend
day)and July 4th beginning at 7am
Location: Colerain Township Municipal Complex, 4200 Springdale Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45251 Late
registration fees are $30 for 14 & Older / $25 for 13 & Under
**We expect a large crowd so if you are able to pick up your packets/or complete your
late-registration on Sunday, it will be less crowded for you.
**Our event takes place rain or shine – though we are certainly HOPING for nice weather.
Race Day Schedule
- 7am – Packet pick-up begins 8:15 – Flag raising ceremony
- 8:30 – 5K Run begins – followed by 5K walk a few minutes later (we are using gun-start timing so
faster runners/walkers should line up in the front of their respective groups. Those who expect to
take a more leisurely pace should line up toward the back.)
- 9:40 – Superhero Sprint (FREE kids fun run on the grounds for the little ones; $5 donation
recommended for Super- hero cape) Other after-race events include food, drinks, children’s games,
Awards presentation, Basket Raffle, Split
-the-Pot and memorial balloon release
Parking is available on-site and on the grass lot adjoining the 5K venue, weather dependent.
Overflow/Back-up parking is at Northgate Mall (corner of Springdale Rd and Colerain Ave). Park
closest to Macy’s – at northwest corner of mall lot. You will cross Springdale Rd. to walk sidewalk
approximately ½ mile to race site. We will have signs posted.
We do have handicapped spots reserved in front of Senior Center (4300 Springdale Rd, 45251) for
those who are una- ble to walk from Northgate Mall.
We will have a number of photographers on hand throughout the day Monday. Please arrange with your
team to meet at the photo booth for your team picture. We LOVE seeing the energy of the day
captured in photos!
Don’t forget to bring money, credit card, or checkbook for Basket Raffle Split-the-Pot, Sno-bug,
and donations to help us bring more HOPE to children with brain cancer. We have more than 50 Raffle
Baskets so you’ll want to check them out! Some winners will be drawn on race day and others will be
drawn August 14th during the Tony Merk Pigskin Pre- view at LaSalle High School. We will deliver
baskets to winners who are not present at drawing.
